4 Reasons Why I'm Wearing a Cape This Autumn

4 reasons to wear a cape in autumn
It's a season for capes!!! I'm seriously obsessed with this little F&F cape which I got about 3 years ago. I've been wearing it religiously every spring and autumn and I'm not sure what I'll do when it eventually wears out.

If you are interested in fashion, you've probably noticed that capes are still going strong for Autumn/Winter 2016. Hence, today I wanted to share with you a few reasons why I'll definitely be rocking mine over the next few months.

Capes are great for layering

It's the time of the year when it may be a little tricky to figure out how to dress. The weather simply can't make its mind so we need to be prepared for fluctuating temperatures. That's when capes come in handy. They're super comfortable and you can layer them to keep chill at bay.

Reasons why you should invest in a cape

Cape gives me a confidence to rock any look

Ever since I read the Harry Potter series, I wanted to have an invisibility cloak. While this particular cape doesn't have any magical powers, it gives me a much needed confidence boost every time I wear it.

Capes are versatile

Capes have become a new fashion statement. They're versatile and can be worn with pretty much everything. For example, I've worn mine with trainers, heels (here) or jumpers and ankle boots (like here). The possibilities are unlimited!

Capes add a fun element to any look

Capes are a perfect alternative to a classic coat. They can also add a fun and unexpected element to your outfit.
