Peplum is one of the styles that doesn't seem to go anywhere anytime soon despite being binned by some fashion critics.
I'm personally a huge fan of the peplum trend which looks great on every body type. Women who don't have curves can wear a peplum dress to emphasise slim waist and create an illusion of an hourglass figure while those who have been blessed in the curves department like me can adapt the style to accentuate their natural shape.
Although I can find a few peplums in my closet, I have a special connection with the peplum dress I'm showing you today.
I spotted it two years ago while casually browsing www.bonprix.co.uk. At first I wasn't totally convinced it would suit me but I loved the tartan pattern and couldn't resist the urge to buy it. When it arrived a few days, I was pleasantly surprised with how the dress looked on me and had no doubt it was a keeper.
What do you think about peplum style? Is it yay or nay?
