I have to admit that once upon a time I used to think that summer dresses can only be worn in summer. Now I know it was silly as there is no rule which states that we have to banish our favourite summer clothes to the back of the wardrobe for months.
Of course I'm not saying that we can get away with absolutely everything at this time of year. An outfit consisting of a puffer jacket and flip flops is a definite no-no unless you really want to stand out from the crowd!
However, take a look at the polka dot dress I'm wearing today. Although it's made from a lighter fabric, it's perfectly wearable right now. I simply added opaque tights and jazzed up the entire look with my bright red coat. I also couldn't resist and opted for my new patent shoes, which debuted on the blog on Monday.
What do you think of this look? Do you cling onto your summer clothes through all the seasons?
