I have a confession to make…I think I’m turning into a shopaholic.
I was always a sensible person who thought twice before spending a penny. I only knew the concept of ‘impulse buying’ from books and magazines as I never bought clothes or shoes in the spur of the moment.
However, recently something has changed and I started using shopping as a pick me up. Whenever I have a bad day, I go on a mini shopping spree and convince myself that a new dress or shoes is just what I need.
I know that this behaviour is very dangerous as I end up with a bursting wardrobe and clothes I don’t necessary need. So, to change my bad habit I’ve just imposed a shopping ban on myself and created a ‘1 Dress, 7 Ways Challenge’ to make the most of my clothes and style the simple flared printed dress that has been hanging at the back of my wardrobe in 7 different ways. To kick start the project, which I'm going to document on the blog, today I paired the dress with a simple pair of suede courts and tote bag.
What do you think about my idea? Would you get involved in something similar?
